Fresh Mangoes

Plantations are called haciendas in Mexico. These large estates were developed with the help of Spanish land grants to conquistadors and settlers in the 16th and 17th centuries. Today, we grow mangoes on our 300 acre hacienda in the Jalisco state of Mexico, where our fruit absorbs just the right amount of nutrients, rainfall and sunshine that help produce mangoes that are considered by many to be the best tasting in the world.

The mango season in Jalisco runs from May to August. Mancifrut offers the most delicious varieties of mangoes including :

• Ataulfo
• Kent
• Tommy Atkins

We also air-dry our mangoes and other tropical fruit a short distance from the hacienda.  If your quality control team would like to visit us, we're located 25 minutes from Manzanillo Airport.  Our factory is in a very safe area just minutes away from the fishing village of Barra de Navidad, which offers foreign visitors cultural immersion, excellent hotels, restaurants and world class marlin/tuna/mahi-mahi fishing.
